One of the most important and common concerns when shopping online for plus-size fashions is.... "Is it going to fit?" Good question! Keep reading...

Shopping for plus-size fashions online can sometimes be intimidating and even frustrating at times, but at Kathy's Curvy Corner -- We are here to give you the comfort and confidence of shopping by "your" size.

The fact is... if you are not shopping online for cute, unique and trendy plus-size clothing, you are missing out on so much that is available to you. Gone are the days of being left with frumpy clothes and having very few choices of style and size.

Shopping online for clothing is not only fun and exciting but can be so very rewarding... there is so much available to us! Without having to jump in the car, pack up the kids, hit the mall and shop at the same ole shops everyone else is shopping at, we have an entirely plus size mall right at our finger tips. Online retailers in the plus-size industry have opened up a whole new world of fashion for us plus-size ladies!

There are many different size charts out there in the plus-size industry - Oh...it can be so confusing and can make a curvy girls head spin! - the fact is... there is no universal standard measuring chart... which would be a blessing.

I know in my personal closet.. I have sizes ranging from XL to 5X - and they all fit me perfectly. But, I never mind with tag sizes... I know my measurements and always use my measurements as my guide when shopping online and you should, too.

Before you begin your journey shopping online for clothing - the first thing you want to arm yourself with is your personal measurements - It is those measurements that will lead you to a perfect fit, each and every time, providing the retailer has given you the information you need. Keep them handy in your desk or somewhere you can easily glance at when shopping online.

One other important thing to note is length... If you are short waisted or perhaps broad shouldered (like me) length is very important... So, it is equally important to pay close attention to length on the garment. Some of us are short waisted and would "swim" in a top that is 31" long and others are broad shouldered (like me) and 26" in length would be too short on my frame. So, length is also a very important part of getting the right size and fit.

Now that you have your measurements and are using that as your guide when shopping online - You can be confident that when that new package comes in the mail... you can open it up, slip into it... and it's going to fit perfectly! How exciting!
