Lots of Plus Models, Not Enough Magazines?

I can probably count on one hand the number of magazines out there that cater specifically to the plus-size woman. Most of them are online and very few are available in print today. As a community, we’re celebrating the launch of Skorch Magazine which is currently the only digital & print magazine for the plus-size woman. We’ve all shouted a resounding “It’s about time!”, but I’ve always wondered, why is it only now that we have the first ever printed plus size fashion magazine?
